Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using our website or booking services. By using Key Business Class, you agree to these conditions.
Effective Date: May 7, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Key Business Class website, services, and booking platform. By accessing our website at keybusinessclass.com, requesting a quote, or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. About Our Services
Key Business Class operates as an independent travel agency and air consolidator. We specialise in sourcing discounted business class and first class airfare through our network of airline partners, consolidators, and global distribution systems (GDS).
We are not an airline. We do not operate aircraft. We act as an intermediary between you (the traveller) and the airline providing the transportation service. All flights are subject to the airline's own conditions of carriage, which supplement these Terms.
Our services include:
- Quoting and booking business class and first class airline tickets
- Consolidator and wholesale fare sourcing
- Award booking assistance (using your frequent flyer miles)
- Corporate travel management accounts
- Flight change, cancellation, and rebooking support
- 24/7 travel support for active bookings
2. Eligibility
By using our services, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
- The personal information you provide is accurate, complete, and current
- You are not prohibited from travelling under any applicable law or airline restriction
- You have all necessary travel documents (passport, visa, ESTA, etc.) for your itinerary
We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel bookings at our discretion if we believe you have violated these eligibility requirements.
3. Quotes and Bookings
3.1 Quotes
All quotes provided by Key Business Class are valid for a limited time, typically 24-72 hours, unless otherwise specified. Airfare is subject to availability and can change without notice. A quote does not guarantee a seat until a booking is confirmed and ticketed.
3.2 Booking Process
To confirm a booking, you must:
- Review and approve the itinerary and fare details
- Provide accurate traveller information (full name as per passport, date of birth, etc.)
- Submit payment in full or the agreed deposit amount
- Confirm acceptance of these Terms and the airline's conditions of carriage
3.3 Payment
We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), bank wire transfers, and PayPal. All prices are quoted and charged in US Dollars unless otherwise agreed. You are responsible for any foreign transaction fees charged by your bank or card issuer.
For high-value bookings or first-time clients, we may require:
- A copy of the credit card used for payment
- A copy of government-issued photo ID
- A signed credit card authorisation form
This is standard fraud prevention practice in the travel industry and protects both parties.
3.4 Ticketing
Most tickets are issued within 24 hours of payment confirmation. Some consolidator or special fare tickets may require 48-72 hours. You will receive an e-ticket confirmation via email once issued. If ticketing is delayed beyond 72 hours, we will notify you immediately with an explanation and expected timeline.
4. Pricing and Fees
4.1 Fare Structure
Our prices consist of:
- Base Fare: The airline ticket cost (typically 30-60% below published retail)
- Taxes and Surcharges: Government taxes, airport fees, and fuel surcharges (set by airlines/governments)
- Service Fee: Our booking and concierge fee (disclosed upfront in your quote)
4.2 Price Changes
Airline prices change constantly. Until your booking is confirmed and paid in full, the quoted price may increase or decrease. We will notify you immediately if a price changes before ticketing. You have the right to cancel without penalty if the new price is not acceptable.
4.3 Additional Charges
You are responsible for any fees imposed by airlines after ticketing, including:
- Date or route change fees
- Name correction fees
- Seat selection fees (unless included in your fare)
- Excess baggage fees
- Airline-imposed cancellation or no-show penalties
5. Cancellations, Changes, and Refunds
5.1 Cancellation by You
Cancellation policies vary by fare type:
- Flexible Fares: Typically refundable minus a service fee, if cancelled before ticketing or within 24 hours of booking
- Standard Fares: May be partially refundable or offer future travel credit, depending on airline policy
- Consolidator / Promo Fares: Often non-refundable. Some allow changes for a fee. Terms will be clearly stated in your quote
Our service fee is non-refundable once ticketing has commenced. Airline refund processing typically takes 8-12 weeks.
5.2 Changes by You
Flight changes are subject to airline policies and fare rules. We will assist with all change requests and charge no additional service fee beyond what the airline charges. However, complex changes requiring manual rebooking may incur a processing fee, disclosed upfront.
5.3 Cancellation by Airline
If an airline cancels your flight, you are entitled to a full refund or rebooking at no extra cost, per airline and DOT regulations. We will assist you in securing the best alternative.
5.4 Force Majeure
Neither Key Business Class nor the airline is liable for failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including: natural disasters, pandemics, government travel bans, war, terrorism, airport closures, or airspace restrictions.
6. Travel Documents and Requirements
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have all required travel documents, including:
- Valid passport (with at least 6 months validity beyond travel dates)
- Visas, ESTAs, or Electronic Travel Authorisations as required by destination
- Proof of vaccination or health certificates (if required by destination)
- Return or onward travel tickets (if required by immigration)
- Travel insurance documentation (strongly recommended)
Key Business Class is not responsible for denied boarding, deportation, or denied entry due to incomplete, incorrect, or missing travel documents. No refunds will be issued in such cases unless covered by travel insurance.
7. Liability and Disclaimers
7.1 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Key Business Class's total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific booking in question
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
- We are not liable for airline delays, cancellations, overbooking, lost baggage, or in-flight service issues
- We are not liable for injuries, illness, or death occurring during travel
7.2 Airline Responsibility
The airline providing the flight is solely responsible for the actual air transportation. All flight services are subject to the airline's conditions of carriage, which are available on the airline's website and form part of your contract of carriage.
7.3 Website Accuracy
While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, we do not warrant that:
